Preparation and Cooking Suggestions
Bring 2 cups water and ¼ tsp. salt to a boil in a saucepan. Add 1 cup quinoa and reduce to a simmer. Cover and cook until all of the water is absorbed (about 15 minutes). You will know when the quinoa is done when all of the grains have turned translucent and the spiral-like germ becomes visible. Makes 3 cups.
