Grapefruit Olive Oil Martini

Fat-washing is our new favorite way to enjoy cocktails, especially this grapefruit olive oil martini from Pate Giltner @thegandmkitchen.
For the Fat-Washed Gin
- 4 ounces Roland® Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 10 ounces dry gin
For the Cocktail
- 2 ounces olive oil-fatwashed gin
- 1/2 ounce grapefruit liqueur
- 1 ounce grapefruit juice
- Juice of half a lemon
Directions
- Make the olive oil fat-washed gin by combining the gin and olive oil in a mason jar. Let sit for 24 hour hours, then freeze for 2 hours. Once the olive oil has frozen, strain out the infused gin
- Add the 2 ounces of the gin and the remaining ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake for 30 seconds, then strain into a chilled martini glass
