Maple Chai Espresso Martini

Espresso martinis have been making a comeback these past few years. Elevate your martini with a chai twist sweetened with Roland® Maple Syrup. Recipe by @pinchofparsley.
For the Chai Maple Syrup
- 1/2 cup Roland® Maple Syrup
- 1/2 cup water
- 4 chai tea bags
For the Cocktail
1 ounce vodka
1 ounce coffee liqueur
1 ounce espresso
1 ounce maple chai syrup
1 ounce coconut cream
ice cubes
star anise for garnish
Directions
For the Chai Maple Syrup
Add the water and maple syrup to a small saucepan. Add the chai tea bags and gently submerge them. Bring to a simmer over low heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes
Remove from the heat and allow the tea to steep for another 10 minutes while the simple syrup cools. Transfer any leftovers to an airtight container
For the Maple Chai Espresso Martini
Add all of the ingredients to a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously for 45-60 seconds
Strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass. Garnish with a star anise and grated nutmeg, if desired. Enjoy responsibly!
