Spicy Fig Jam Ricotta Crostini

Ingredients
- 1 baguette
- Roland® Olive Oil
- 2 cups whole milk ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup Roland® Fig Jam (get the Fig Jam on Amazon)
- 1 teaspoon whole Calabrian Chili Peppers
- 2 teaspoon lemon juice
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Basil leaves, to garnish
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Slice the baguette into 1-inch diagonal slices and drizzle with olive oil. Bake for 15-20 minutes
- Combine the Calabrian Chili Peppers, fig jam, lemon zest, and juice, and set aside
- Add whole milk ricotta to a standard mixer and beat for a few minutes or until light and fluffy, set aside
- To assemble, smear the crostini with whipped ricotta. For an elevated appearance transfer the ricotta to a piping bag and pipe it on. Top with dollops of the spicy fig jam and garnish with basil and more lemon zest
