MasterChef: Laura Sharrad gives fans a taste of her VERY modern kitchen


She narrowly missed out on the 2020 MasterChef title, finishing second to Emelia Jackson in the season finale last week.

And on Tuesday, Laura Sharrad gave fans a glimpse of the very modern kitchen she shares with her husband, Max, which is equipped with the latest appliances.

Laura, 24, known for her skill at cooking Italian dishes, showcased the ‘favorite room’ of her Adelaide home in an exclusive photoshoot for Daily Mail Australia.

“My kitchen is very modern and simple; it’s my favorite room in my house, ”she said.

Laura’s kitchen features several wood tones, concrete floors and brick walls.

The popular chef has made no secret of her love for Smeg kitchen appliances, which she has previously showcased on her social media accounts.

“I have a number of tones complemented by my amazing home appliances, both stainless steel and retro black,” she explained.

The kitchen has a 50s-style fridge-freezer, undercounter dishwasher, and stand mixer – but Laura’s favorite appliance is the stove.

It sits in the center of its kitchen and is supported by a T-shaped wall mounted range hood.

Her modern kitchen is also furnished with several potted plants, including one by the window and another above the hob.
